YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAM
PHE101 - Physical Education (ages 4~7)
Get up and get moving! We are now offering a general physical education class for ages 4-7 to allow children to be more active in fun and creative ways. This phys ed class will help children improve their general fitness level and learn the basics of many sports including basketball, soccer, kickball, etc.
We aim to create a positive and supportive environment where young athletes can grow and develop their love for sports and physical activity. Join our PE class and watch your child's confidence and fitness levels soar!
YSC101 - Youth Strength & Conditioning (ages: 7+)
Cross training is a valuable way to improve in any sport, especially at a young age. This strength and conditioning course will help improve speed, agility, basic strength, and endurance for almost any sport including tennis, swimming, basketball, soccer, hockey etc.
This course is meant for any student who is playing a sport on the side. They will also learn the value of teamwork, sportsmanship, and dedication. Join us today and give your child the opportunity to become the best athlete they can be!
BAS101 -Basketball (ages: 7+)
Develop your basketball skills in a fun and friendly class instructed by former high school basketball players. Learn how to play as a team and improve your physical abilities on the basketball court while learning the rules of the game. This class is 55 minutes long and will teach athletes the fundamentals of playing basketball.
Anyone who is serious about playing basketball at a higher level may have the opportunity to play for a local Chinese basketball club. Reach out to the coach to learn more.
SOC101 - Soccer (ages: 6+)
Learn from a former D1 Saint Peters University soccer player on the rules of the game. Our experienced coach is dedicated to creating a positive and encouraging environment that allows children to develop their skills and confidence at their own pace. In addition to soccer skills, our program emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect for others, helping children develop important life skills both on and off the field.
We believe that soccer is a great way for kids to stay active, have fun, and learn valuable lessons that will benefit them for years to come. Overall, our Youth Soccer Program is a fantastic opportunity for children to experience the excitement and joy of soccer while also building important life skills and making new friends.
Table Tennis (ages: 6+)
Our Table Tennis Program is a fun and engaging program. Our experienced and patient coaches have a proven track record of success, with their students winning numerous prizes in the US National Table Tennis Championship. Many of their students have also gone on to become members of the USATT National Jr Team.
In this program, kids will learn the basics of table tennis, including rules, techniques, and strategies. Whether your child is a beginner or has some experience, they will have a great time and develop their skills in this exciting and rewarding sport.
Please note that this program will not be held at TongYan school. However, if you reside in a building that has table tennis tables, or you have a table at home, you can sign up for private or semi-private classes. If interested, kindly email us at email@example.com.
