Exploring Water Colours Workshop

Shifra Arts, LLC- Shaheen Yadav, TongYan Chinese School
This workshop will be led by self-taught artist Shaheen, who finds inspiration in everyday objects and her interactions with people and nature. Learn about the basics of watercolor painting, including different types of paper, brushes, and color application techniques.

Kids must be able to handle scissors

Bilingual Story Time

Join us for an exciting afternoon of stories, songs, and learning at
our bilingual story time event hosted by TongYan Chinese School. Our talented graduate teachers and storytellers from New York University's TESOL program will share a selection of their favorite stories in both Chinese and English.
To enrich the experience, we'll introduce a few Chinese characters,sing engaging songs, and incorporate music to make the event even more enjoyable.

Chess Trial Class

Chess National Master: Joe Lux
35 years of classroom experience.
Before retirement, Lux was a chess instructor and tournament director for the Bayonne Board of Education. During his tenure, he successfully led teams to win multiple New Jersey JHS Championships.
Requirements:
Children must have a basic knowledge of chess before participating
