Chinese Reading Level 1

Service Description

The Fall Semester includes 14 weeks of classes, on Sundays, from 09/13/2026 - 12/20/2026. There will be no class on (11/29). Due to Stevens Cooperative School’s campus policy, parents may enter the building only on the first day of class. For all subsequent classes, students should be dropped off and picked up at the designated entrance. This course is designed for students who can understand and speak Chinese fluently but are new to reading Chinese characters. In this beginner-level class, students will be introduced to basic character recognition, stroke order, and simple sentence structures. Through engaging activities such as character games and short stories, students will build a strong foundation in reading Chinese. No prior experience with Chinese characters is needed—just a readiness to learn and explore the written language!
