Service Description
The Spring Semester includes 17 weeks of classes. There will be no class on (01/18, 02/15, 04/05, and 05/24) This class is designed for heritage learners who speak Mandarin at home and are ready to begin reading and writing. Using the Ma Li Ping (MLP) heritage Chinese curriculum, students focus on character recognition, reading comprehension, and oral expression. Writing is introduced gradually, with an emphasis on stroke order and character structure. Through engaging stories, repetition, and cultural content, students build a solid foundation in literacy—aiming to master 1,500 common characters by 4th grade. No Pinyin is used, helping students focus on character-based learning. The price includes the Ma Li Ping heritage Chinese textbook set, which will be distributed during the first class.

Cancellation Policy
TongYan School permits parents to request a prorated refund for their child's withdrawal before the beginning of the second class of each semester. In these cases, parents will receive school credit that can be utilized for future enrollment or other school-related expenses. However, once the second class begins, refunds are no longer available.
