Fine and Performing Arts have been a part of my life for 20 plus years as a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher. I would be delighted to continue to contribute my strong dance background, keen eye, decades of experience as a touring professional working in theater, television, film, print, commercials, corporate business events and education.
20 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL DANCE EXPERIENCE: 1992-2011
2 years with Spencer/Colton Dance Company, 5 years with Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, 13 years with Pilobolus Dance Theater. At Pilobolus I was an integral member of all 3creative dance branches: the Touring Company that creates new works and teaches workshops and lecture demonstrations all over the world; Pilobolus Creative Services which creates movement services for film, advertising, publishing, commercials and corporate clients; and the International Touring Group. I have collaborated on 4 evening-length dance theater works that have garnered critical acclaim: “STILL/HERE”, “We Set Out Early, Visibility Was Unclear”, “A Selection” and “Shadowland”. TV/film performances include The 79th Academy Awards, Oprah Winfrey Show, Late Night With Conan O’Brien, ABC News 20/20 Special “Beauty and Privilege”, Portugal Golden Globes. Commercial works include: Hyundai Santa Fe, Ford for Superbowl 2008 and BidVest (South Africa). Print work includes: National Geographic’s Olympic Edition (2002 Winter Olympics), cover of Pilobolus calendars (1999-2007), Pilobolus’ ”Human Alphabet Book” and Pilobolus’ “Twisted Yoga”. Theater venues have included: Kennedy Center (Wash. D.C.), Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Brooklyn Academy of Music, City Center, The Joyce Theater, NJPAC, NYC Summer Stage, The McCarter Theater (Princeton, NJ and The Gutherie Theater ( Minn.MN).
